A poolside hot tub transitions pool days into pool nights. An elevated sun deck with ocean views is one of many tanning and happy hour spots. No matter the weather, the rec room and theater will keep the young and the young at heart entertained. With 13 TVs throughout, free high-speed wireless internet, a gas grill, a cabana, an outdoor shower, nine parking spaces, and a seasonal fireplace for cooler months (October through March), ShipShape is sure to have something for everyone to have an amazing beach week, year after year. Please note this is a non-smoking, no pets home with Saturday check-in.

The ground floor is home to a lively entertainment hub. The rec room features a flatscreen TV and plenty of space to gather. A private in-home theater takes watching movies, sports, and gaming to the next level. A half bath is conveniently located off the rec room.
Between the private pool with a tanning ledge, the hot tub, the cabana, and the outdoor shower, there is no shortage of fun to be had in the backyard. Fire up the gas grill for dinner outdoors, then take a short stroll down the private walkway to the beach that puts you at the ocean's edge, where you'll find a dune deck with built-in seating for an elevated view of the water as far as the eye can see.

The middle floor opens to a covered deck that overlooks the pool area and extends out to the sundeck and eastward to the private dune deck. Steps from the walkway also lead down to the pool area so you can easily get from the ground to the middle level deck. A laundry room is available on this level.

The top floor of ShipShape offers uninterrupted ocean views from the great room, kitchen, and dining area; the view and a coastal breeze can be enjoyed from the top floor sun deck accessible from the great room and dining area sliding glass doors. The great room also features a seasonal fireplace for off-season stays between October and March. The kitchen is equipped with appliances suitable to feed a group, and the island, with seating along two sides, also serves as a spot for gathering. A half bath serves the main living area.

Nags Head has been the historic center of family beach vacations on the Outer Banks since the 1940s and 50s, and ShipShape places you in the middle of it at Milepost 10.5.
