This Carolina Designs vacation rental pairs nine bedrooms, each with a connected bathroom, with two rec rooms, a home theater, an elevator, and a 30 x 18 private pool with a hot tub and cabana at Milepost 10.

Overview

Located on the oceanfront in the quintessential beach town of Nags Head, Exta Sea is an amazing option for your next Outer Banks vacation. Offering two rec rooms and a theater, nine bedrooms all with a connected bathroom, and a large gathering area with an open concept floor plan on the top floor, your vacation group can come together to make unforgettable memories and still have private space to rest and recharge each evening for another day of vacation fun. An elevator serves the home, making it easy to move luggage, groceries, and beach gear between levels, and nine parking spaces mean the whole group has room to arrive.

The private pool area has more to offer than just a refreshing pool for your days in the sun. There is a bubbling hot tub and a sheltered poolside cabana. The sun comes up over the ocean and sets over the sound, and with decks on both sides of the house, you don't have to miss the amazing colors in the sky that both create. Three outdoor showers and a gas grill round out the exterior amenities, and free high-speed wireless internet keeps everyone connected inside.

Not only does this house offer a great location being only a short walk over the dune to the beach, but Nags Head has also been known as a historic center of family beach vacations since the 1940s and 50s.

Sleeping accommodations include eight king bedrooms and a bedroom with two pyramid bunks, supported by nine full baths and two half baths. Two dogs are welcome with a fee, an EV charger is available onsite, and check-in day is Saturday.

Pool: The 30 x 18 private pool is open 4/4/2026 to 10/24/2026 and 3/27/2027 to 10/23/2027, with pool heat available for $600.00. Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.

Seasonal Cabana Service: Service dates for the 2026 season are 05/02/26 - 09/19/26. Service dates for the 2027 season are 05/01/2027 - 09/18/2027. This home receives beachside cabana & beach chair set-up services during your stay. This complimentary service includes one 10x10 cabana tent and six beach chairs. Set-up hours are 10am to 5pm daily (except check-in/check-out day), weather permitting. This service is not available for partial-week stays and is subject to local ordinances. Service provided by Farmdog Beach Services. Additional add-on services and other rentals are available upon request for an additional charge.

EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.

Pets: Two dogs are welcome with an additional fee.

Special Access Amenities: First floor shared bathroom has a low barrier shower with seat and grab bar as well as a roll under sink. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant. Contact our office for additional information.

2027 Holiday Week Check-In: Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.
