Set in the Whalehead neighborhood in the heart of Corolla, this semi-oceanfront Outer Banks retreat blends upscale comfort with wall-to-wall entertainment. Climb to the rooftop deck for beautiful ocean views and a glimpse of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, a picture-perfect backdrop for your OBX vacation rental week. Inside, the great room welcomes you with soaring ceilings, abundant natural light, and comfortable seating, creating a warm and inviting space to gather at the end of a beach day. The kitchen is built for a crowd, making group meals a breeze. A sun deck and an east-facing deck on the top floor provide ideal spots to enjoy the fresh ocean air and dreamy sunrises.

The middle level is designed for relaxation, with a cozy media den and five private bedroom suites, each with a private bath and smart TV. On the ground level, the fun continues in a rec room featuring a pool table, foosball, an arcade game, and a kitchenette, plus a private theater for epic movie nights. Step outside to an incredible outdoor oasis with a 30' x 14' private pool, hot tub, sand volleyball area, and basketball hoop. The poolside cabana adds to the outdoor fun. With nine bedrooms, nine full baths, three half baths, an elevator serving every level, and 11 parking spaces, this Corolla home is a great destination for an unforgettable vacation with a large family or two traveling together. Two dogs are welcome with a fee, and free high-speed wireless internet keeps everyone connected.

Amenities and Location

Bedding includes six kings, one queen, two twins, and two pyramid bunks, with a private bath for every bedroom. Additional comforts include 14 TVs, a home theater, a recreation room, a highchair, gas and charcoal grills, and free high-speed wireless internet. Outside you will find a 30' x 14' private pool, hot tub, cabana, volleyball area, basketball hoop, outdoor showers, and 11 parking spaces. Two dogs are welcome with a fee, and this home offers Saturday check-in.

Corolla is known for expansive, wide beaches of finely textured sand and clean rolling surf, along with quiet neighborhoods, shopping, and historic sites. The Whalehead Club at Currituck Heritage Park and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, the only natural red brick lighthouse on the East Coast, are both nearby attractions. Fill your days with golf, tennis, surfing lessons, a kayak tour, jet ski rentals, or a guided beach tour in search of the wild horses of Corolla. Grocery stores, gift shops, surf shops, coffee shops, ice cream parlors, and souvenir shops are found in several local shopping centers, including Monteray Plaza, Tim Buck II, and Corolla Light Town Center.

Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 85 degrees. 2026 Pool Open: 4/4/2026 to 10/24/2026, pool heat cost $500.00. 2027 Pool Open: 3/27/2027 to 10/23/2027, pool heat cost $500.00.

2027 Holiday Week Check-In: Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.
