The homeowner also provides guests with an upgraded linen package that includes high quality bed linens and towels, and four pillows on each bed.

One of the best things about this home is its exquisite vantage point over the Currituck Sound, where you'll have a front row seat to the best sunset viewing on the Outer Banks. The outdoor area is all about relaxation. Take a dip in the pool, unwind in the hot tub, hang out under the shaded outdoor lounge areas (one with a flat screen TV), or stroll out on the private dock and enjoy the serenity of the water. A gas grill, an outdoor shower, and seven parking spaces keep the practical details covered, and two dogs are welcome with an additional fee.

Located in the Corolla Bay community in the town of Corolla, this home is a five minute drive to the Currituck Lighthouse & historic Whalehead Club, and a short distance to the 4x4 beaches of Carova, where you can spot wild horses roaming the shoreline! Grocery stores, restaurants and shops are easily accessible as well, including nearby shopping centers such as Monteray Plaza, Tim Buck II and Corolla Light Town Center. Updates for 2026: New pier lighting, a refreshed grill, new lighting and furnishings in the great room, a new vanity and fixtures in the half bath, a resurfaced pool table and new seating in the rec room, and some new decor items throughout.

Updates for 2025: All bathroom vanity lighting updated, paint refreshed throughout, new weather cover over hot tub and decks facing the sound and pool.

Updates for 2024: Fresh paint in some rooms, lighting and decor updates, all new kitchen countertop appliances.

TVs: The great room, rec room, and pool bar TVs all have cable boxes with cable TV. The bedroom TVs have steaming services (guests use own accounts).

Fireplace: The gas fireplace in the great room is seasonal and available October through March.

Pool: Heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees. The 2026 pool season runs 4/4/2026 to 10/24/2026 and the 2027 pool season runs 3/27/2027 to 10/23/2027, with pool heat available for $500.00.

2027 Holiday Week Check-In: Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.
