The Sandlot captures that ambiance as you unwind after a day of sunning, sightseeing, and exploring. Spread across three levels, this OBX vacation rental delivers the amenities groups ask for most: a 28 x 14 private saltwater pool, a poolside hot tub, a recreation room with a kitchenette, a media room, and gathering spaces on every floor so families can spread out or come together as the mood strikes.

Sleeping arrangements include three kings, three queens, two twin bunks, and two double bunks, with six bedrooms enjoying private baths. A highchair is on hand for the littlest traveler, and laundry facilities are centrally located. Please note that pets are not permitted at this home.

Stroll down community sidewalks to a beach access, and during your stay, guests also have community pool access. The village of Duck offers an impressive array of small shops, boutiques, and restaurants ranging from casual to formal.

Community Note: Duck Landing offers several community amenities including a community beach access, four pickleball courts, an indoor heated pool, an indoor heated kiddie pool, a fitness center, a playground, and a clubhouse with a video game room, pool table, foosball, and ping-pong. All of these amenities are located on the east end of the subdivision where there is limited nearby parking (parking pass required and provided). RVs, boats, and trailers are not permitted in this subdivision (unless they fit completely under carport). Golf carts are allowed. The Town of Duck has beach equipment policies to help keep visits to the shore enjoyable and safe.

Pool: Saltwater pool heated by heat pump, with pool heat provided at no additional cost. The 2026 pool season runs 4/5/2026 through 10/25/2026, and the 2027 season runs 3/28/2027 through 10/24/2027. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max. pool temperature is 80 degrees.
