Community Note: The Town of Duck has beach equipment policies to help keep visits to the shore enjoyable and safe. Duck is known for its village atmosphere, its shops and restaurants, and the walking and bicycling trail that runs the length of town.
Pool: Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees. The 2026 pool season runs 4/5/2026 to 10/25/2026 and the 2027 season runs 3/28/2027 to 10/24/2027, with pool heat available for $500.00.
