Indoors and out, Transcendence is a stunner. An expansive outdoor oasis incorporates a sunny private pool area, as well as a large covered terrace, because the best place to spend time when on vacation is outside! There is a spacious lawn, ample covered space with tables and lounges, two outdoor showers for rinsing off after a swim, and a gas grill.

Highlights of the interior of Transcendence include sweeping ocean views, an elevator serving every level, a rec room with arcade games and a pool table, a theater room, 15 TVs, and twelve bedrooms (10 kings and 2 king-over-king bunksets). An exciting feature of this home is that every single room has a private bath! In total there are 12 full baths and 3 half baths, plus free high-speed wireless internet throughout and 17 parking spaces for large groups arriving in multiple vehicles. Two dogs are welcome with an additional fee, so the whole family can come along.

Located in the town of Southern Shores, this community is popular among vacationers because of its proximity to the Wright Memorial Bridge, meaning you won't have to fight traffic to the northern beaches during high season. Two major grocery stores are about a mile away, and a coffee shop, ice cream spot, seafood restaurant, pizza parlor, boutiques, and an escape room are located nearby at the Southern Shores Crossing plaza. Tree-lined streets make this quiet, residential town perfect for walking and biking, and a short drive north brings you to the quaint village of Duck.

Pool: The 2026 pool season runs 4/4/2026 to 10/24/2026 and the 2027 season runs 3/27/2027 to 10/23/2027, with pool heat available for $700.00. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.

Neighborhood & Community: This OBX vacation rental sits along the narrow stretch of land between the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound, with oceanfront views of uncrowded beaches. Community tennis is available. Please note that vehicles must display a SSCA guest parking pass on the dashboard in community parking areas. Check-in is on Saturday.
