Aptly named after one of the most striking fish in the world, Blue Wahoo offers guests nearly 8,000 square feet of beachfront vacation elegance. Situated on prime oceanfront, this beautifully designed estate was outfitted to offer the recreational amenities required for those vacationing in large groups. Highlights include private bedroom suites, a centrally located elevator, a home theater room, and a rec room with sports bar. The outdoor area is just over the dune from the ocean's shore, and trips to and from the beach are a breeze via the home's private walkway. In a desirable location, guests enjoy quick access to historic parks, family-friendly activities, shopping, and restaurants.

Twelve bedrooms are supported by 12 full baths and 2 half baths, with bedding that includes eight kings, one queen, four twin bunks, one double bunk, and one trundle. Sixteen TVs are spread throughout the home, along with a DVD player, free high-speed wireless internet, and a highchair for the youngest travelers. Outside, a 38 x 16 private pool anchors the oceanfront play space, joined by a hot tub, an outdoor shower, a gas grill, and 12 parking spaces for caravanning families. A seasonal fireplace (October through March) warms the home during cooler stays, making this an appealing OBX vacation rental well beyond the summer weeks. Check-in is on Saturday.

Kill Devil Hills places you in the heart of the Outer Banks, close to a network of bike and walking paths, playgrounds, and miniature golf. Pool Season: 2026 pool open 4/4/2026 through 10/24/2026; 2027 pool open 3/27/2027 through 10/23/2027. Pool heat is available for $400.00.

Special Access Amenities: Ground level entrance and ground floor queen are special access equipped: roll-under sink, built-in shower seat, and shower grab bar. Elevator accesses all floors except loft. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant. Contact our office for additional information.

Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max. pool temperature is 80 degrees.

Pets: Two (2) well-behaved dogs under 40 lbs. are permitted with pet fee.

2027 Holiday Week Check-In: Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.
