Located at Milepost 8, this OBX vacation rental sits central to classic Outer Banks attractions and activities, family recreation, and a host of dining and shopping options. Kill Devil Hills is convenient to several grocery stores, surf shops, and colorful boutiques along the beach road and the bypass, and guests are just minutes from bike and walking paths, playgrounds, go-carts, bowling, miniature golf, laser-tag, the movies, and the Wright Brothers Memorial, where a reproduction of the 1903 Wright Flyer celebrates the beginning of the age of aviation. A magnificent cinema-style home theater is outfitted with a projection screen, HD projector, DVD player, and tiered seating for 14 guests. The recreation room is equipped with a billiard table, game table with four chairs, stool seating, two mounted HDTVs, and a sports bar with full refrigerator, icemaker, microwave, dishwasher, sink, granite countertops, and bar seating for three. Laundry facilities are located on this level as well.

Elevator doors open on the first floor where guests can select from an assortment of six private bedroom suites, all providing HDTVs and private baths. Five are furnished with king size beds: two are west facing with direct access to the front covered porch, and two are oceanfront with direct access to the rear covered deck. The sixth bedroom is outfitted with two twin bunks, a trundle, and a private bath. Laundry facilities are centrally located, so beach towels and swimsuits never pile up. A central den with hardwood floors offers a sofa, an HDTV, a book library, and direct access to the rear covered deck with steps leading down to the pool area, an easy spot to slip away with a novel while the rest of the group plays below.

Show-stopping ocean views, tall ceilings, and hardwood floors welcome guests to the second floor. Multiple seating areas are made up of plush sofas, armchairs, and cozy area rugs arranged around a seasonal gas fireplace and an HDTV. A fabulous kitchen has granite countertops, a center island, abundant storage, and casual bar seating. Appliances include two refrigerators, a range, an oven, a microwave, and a dishwasher to assist in cleaning up. Serve savory meals at three tables. Sliding glass doors are located in the great room that open to a wide sun deck where ocean views and sea breezes are the name of the game! A half bath is centrally located.
Two spacious bedroom suites are available on this floor. One suite features a king size bed, an armchair, an HDTV, a private bath, and direct access to the front covered porch. The second is furnished with a king bed, an armchair, an HDTV, and offers direct covered deck access and a private bathroom with a tile shower and a double vanity.
Steps lead from the great room up to a cozy loft that serves as a media den and a game room. This space is furnished with a sofa, game table with four chairs, a desk with a chair, and an HDTV.

Pool: Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees. The 2026 pool season runs 4/4/2026 to 10/24/2026 and the 2027 pool season runs 3/27/2027 to 10/23/2027; pool heat is available for $500.00 in both years.

Path to Beach: Due to shifting ocean currents and wind, it is not unusual for sand to cover the beach walkway.
