Overview
Ten bedrooms, ten private baths, and three additional half baths mean nobody in your group is waiting a turn, and gathering areas on every floor mean nobody has to share a space they did not choose. Ocean views open up from both the first and second floors, and decks wrap the house at multiple levels.
Outside, a 24 x 12 private pool anchors the yard, with a connected in-pool hot tub and a second sheltered hot tub tucked on a covered deck for the days when the weather does not cooperate. Sunny and shaded poolside lounging, a gas grill, and an outdoor shower keep the whole day centered around the water. Ten parking spaces, an EV charger, and an elevator make arrival and daily life easy, and two dogs are welcome with a fee so the entire family can make the trip.
The location is a double win: oceanfront, and within the Whalehead community, one of the most established neighborhoods on the northern Outer Banks. Local restaurants, shops, and a grocery store are close by. Wide beaches of finely textured sand and the shopping centers of Corolla are all within easy reach of this OBX vacation rental.

Entering the ground floor, there is a central gathering area with a wall full of windows that looks out over the pool. Natural light pours into the room and urges you to head straight outside to the sparkling blue water and warm sunshine. The rec room on this floor offers armchairs centered around a coffee table and a mounted flat screen TV. A nearby kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, and sink makes for the ideal spot to store drinks and snacks for anyone hanging out on this level or out by the pool. Additionally, there is a theater with theater-style seating and a large projector screen, ready for movie nights and rainy afternoons alike. A half bath is conveniently located between the theater, the rec room, and the door that leads out to the pool.
There are three bedrooms on this level. Two of the bedrooms have king beds and private baths. The third bedroom has two built-in double bunks (double-over-double) and a private bath, a favorite arrangement for the younger members of the group.

Taking the stairs or the elevator up a floor, you are greeted with ocean views straight ahead. Shades of blue off the Atlantic Ocean paint the wall to the east through the sliding glass door in the media den. The media den offers sofa and armchair seating, a mounted flat screen TV, a built-in desk area, and access to the covered deck. A second and more robust rec room is available. A card table with seating for four, a high-top table with seating for two, and a bar ledge with seating for two are positioned around the room for everyone hanging out in here. On top of all that, there is not one, not two, but three mounted flat screen TVs in this room. A sliding glass door leads out to a private deck on the front of the house. A half bath is connected to the rec room and is also accessible from the hallway that leads you to the laundry room with a sink.
Bedding accommodations on this floor include four king bedrooms, all with private baths, and a bedroom with two double beds and a private bath. The three king bedrooms on the east end of the house offer ocean views. The west king bedroom has direct access to the covered deck. The second hot tub is located on the covered deck on the south side of the house. The deck wraps from the front to the back of the house.

There are several spectacular elements to this home, but we believe the best part is the showstopping views of the ocean, and they really come to life on the top floor. Whether you are relaxing in the great room, sitting at the dining table, cooking in the kitchen, or reading up on the lofted ocean watch, the views of the Atlantic are uninterrupted and unbeatable. The great room is furnished with an L-shaped sectional and armchairs. Additional armchair seating is positioned on a raised platform under a wall of picture windows. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. A full refrigerator and separate freezer are available, and both have drawers below for additional storage throughout your stay. A microwave rounds out the appliances in the kitchen. A full island bar sits on the outskirts of the kitchen area, and the wrap around bar has seating for many. On the south end of the top floor is a lofted ocean watch with seating and panoramic views through the windows surrounding the space. A door from the ocean watch leads down to the top floor deck that wraps from the west, around to the south, and onto the east side of the house.
Two king bedrooms with private baths round out the top floor. One is located on the northeast side of the house. It offers a spacious seating area that overlooks the ocean and a private bath with a walk-in shower, soaking tub, water closet, double vanity, and walk-in closet. The second king bedroom has a private bath with a shower/tub and a private deck.

EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
Pool: Saltwater pool heated by propane. Max pool temp is 85 degrees. The in-pool hot tub follows the same open/close schedule as the pool. 2026 pool open dates are 4/4/2026 to 10/24/2026 and 2027 pool open dates are 3/27/2027 to 10/23/2027. Pool heat cost is $600.00 for both the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
