Upstairs, the entire east wall of the great room is windows, showcasing spectacular ocean views and providing a tranquil place to enjoy the company of family and friends. With an elevator serving the home and 13 TVs spread throughout, comfort and convenience come standard. Whalehead is a popular community among vacationers for its proximity to shops and restaurants, and activities including water sports. It's also a short drive to the 4x4 beaches of Carova where you can see the wild horses that roam this stretch of the Outer Banks!

Sleeping Arrangements: 10 bedrooms with 9 private baths, including 8 kings, 2 doubles, and 1 double bunk, served by 10 full baths and 1 half bath. Free high-speed wireless internet is provided throughout the home, along with six parking spaces. Saturday check-in. No pets allowed.

Seasonal Cabana Service: This home receives beachside cabana & beach chair set-up services during your stay. This complimentary service includes one 10x10 cabana tent and six beach chairs. Set-up hours are 10am to 5pm daily (except check-in/check-out day), weather permitting. This service is not available for partial-week stays and is subject to local ordinances. Additional add-on services and other rentals are available upon request for an additional charge.

Pool: 28.0 x 14.0 private pool heated by propane. Max. pool temp is 85 degrees. 2026 pool open dates are 4/4/2026 - 10/24/2026 with a pool heat cost of $1,000.00. 2027 pool open dates are 3/27/2027 - 10/23/2027 with a pool heat cost of $1,000.00.
