Overview

Blue Beacon Retreat delivers three levels of thoughtfully designed space for large groups who want room to spread out and reasons to come back together. The outdoor area is an oasis for entertaining, including a custom oceanfront pool, two hot tubs, a covered patio with outdoor seating and dining, a cabana tiki bar and bath, and a private beach boardwalk with a dune deck leading to the blue waters of the Atlantic. This prime oceanfront estate features panoramic ocean views, a luxurious great room, an elevator, bedrooms with private baths, a recreation lounge with a sports bar, and a cinema-style home theater.

The home design creates a wonderful flow between private bedroom suites and various entertainment options to capture the attention of all ages in your party. Professionally decorated in coastal shades and stylish furnishings, the home provides a private bath for every bedroom. Thirteen TVs, free high-speed wireless internet, a seasonal fireplace (October through March), and eight parking spaces round out the comforts of this OBX vacation rental. Two dogs are welcome with a fee, an EV charger is available onsite, and special events are welcome with advance arrangements.

Located in the Whalehead community of Corolla, this home is close to shopping and dining, grocery stores, and activities for all ages. The wide, finely textured beaches and clean rolling surf are the main attraction. Saturday check-in.

Updates for 2024: A second hot tub was added in the pool area, and an electric vehicle charger was added outside (see more information below).

Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees, the pump will not continue to heat. Max. pool temperature is 80 degrees. 2026 Pool Open: 4/4/2026 - 10/24/2026, pool heat cost $500.00. 2027 Pool Open: 3/27/2027 - 10/23/2027, pool heat cost $500.00.

EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.

Special Access Amenities: A ramp leads to the front entrance of the home, and a mid-level king has a bath with a barrier-free shower and roll-under sink. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant. Contact our office for additional information.

Special Events Welcome: $3,000 special event fee and $3,000 refundable security deposit are required for all special events. Maximum of 150 attendees, including the guests already occupying the home. Pets: Two dogs are welcome with an additional fee.

TVs: The TVs throughout the house have Roku installed. Guests access cable television through the installed Spectrum app; no login is required.

2027 Holiday Week Check-In: Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.
