Exterior stairs connect the decks from level to level, allowing you to move between indoor and outdoor living spaces without passing through the house. The top floor brings everyone together in an open-concept great room, dining areas, and kitchen, with access to the decks overlooking the pool, as well as a sun deck off the kitchen. A spacious king bedroom on this level features a one-of-a-kind private bath with a soaking tub, a large walk-in shower, and direct access from the indoor shower to an outdoor shower for a truly special touch.

Five bedrooms, each with a private bath, make this OBX vacation rental an easy fit for multiple families or several generations traveling together. The bedding lineup includes four kings and two queens, supported by five full baths and two half baths so mornings never feel crowded. Nine TVs are spread throughout the home, including smart TVs in the rec room and at the wet bar. Additional comforts include free high-speed wireless internet, a gas grill for easy evening cookouts, three outdoor showers, a seasonal fireplace (October through March), and five parking spaces. Two dogs are welcome with an additional pet fee, and check-in is Saturday at 4pm, firm.

Sunshine Shack sits in Olde Duck Beach, just 470 yards from the community beach access at the end of the street. You are also placed a short drive from the heart of Duck, where you can explore local coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, the soundfront boardwalk, and charming coastal storefronts. The village is known for its small, walkable shopping centers, its waterfront dining, and the Duck Town Park, an 11-acre maritime forest on the Currituck Sound with a playground, soundside walkway, gazebo, and amphitheater. A walking and bicycling trail runs the entire length of town, and the sound and ocean together offer swimming, surfing, fishing, crabbing, and kayaking.
