This Duck home offers a lovely balance of spacious gathering areas, thoughtful bedroom layouts, and inviting outdoor spaces. The ground floor sets the stage for fun with a large rec room featuring a pool table, a comfortable seating area, and a wet bar, while outside, a 32'x14' private pool, poolside hot tub, cabana, and multiple outdoor showers create a backyard made perfectly for sunny vacation days. Covered decks are located on three sides of the house, each offering access to fresh coastal air, while the south decks overlook the backyard and pool area. Exterior stairs connect the decks from level to level, allowing you to move between indoor and outdoor living spaces without passing through the house. Topping it all off, a large rooftop deck provides an unforgettable setting for both sunrise mornings and sunset evenings. The top floor brings everyone together in an open-concept great room, dining areas, and kitchen, with access to both the south- and west-facing decks overlooking the pool, as well as a north-facing sun deck off the kitchen. A spacious king bedroom on this level features a one-of-a-kind private bath with a soaking tub, a large walk-in shower, and direct access from the indoor shower to an outdoor shower for a truly special touch.

With five bedrooms and five private baths, four kings, two queens, two additional half baths, nine TVs, free high-speed wireless internet, a gas grill, and five parking spaces, this OBX vacation rental is set up for easy group living. Two dogs are welcome with an additional fee, and a seasonal fireplace (October through March) adds warmth to off-season stays. Check-in is on Saturday.

Sunshine Shack is located in Olde Duck Beach, within walking distance of the community beach access at the end of the street, just 470 yards away. You're also placed just a short drive from the heart of Duck, where you can explore local coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, the soundfront boardwalk, and charming coastal storefronts. The village's walking and bicycling trail runs the length of town, and Duck Town Park offers a playground, soundside walkway, and seasonal events in an 11-acre maritime forest on the Currituck Sound.

Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max. pool temperature is 80 degrees. 2026 pool open dates: 4/4/2026 - 10/24/2026, with a pool heat cost of $500.00. 2027 pool open dates: 3/27/2027 - 10/23/2027, with a pool heat cost of $500.00.
