The Nags Head Setting

This OBX vacation rental places you in the historic center of Outer Banks beach vacations. Jockey's Ridge State Park, the tallest natural sand dune system on the East Coast, offers hiking, nature trails, picnicking and sail boarding, while Nags Head Woods Ecological Preserve protects 1400 acres of maritime forest with more than five miles of trails. Cast a line from the beach or one of three piers, including renovated Jeannette's Pier, then explore miniature golf, go-carting, a brand-name outlet mall, specialty shops, and restaurants ranging from take-out to fine dining. Historic Roanoke Island, the NC Aquarium, and the fishing village of Wanchese are all an easy drive away.

Path to Beach: The beach walkway is shared with the neighboring home. The neighbors added on to their side of the walkway, so now each home has its own dune top deck.
