The unique shopping and dining options of town are just a quick walk or bike ride away, and both the Sea Hawk community sound overlook area and the ocean walkway are just a stroll down the street, with beach access 635 yards from the house. With five bedrooms, four of them with private baths, seven parking spaces, and free high-speed wireless internet throughout, this OBX vacation rental gives extended families and groups of friends plenty of room to spread out.

Amenities and Entertainment

Seven TVs and two DVD players are spread through the home for rainy afternoons and early bedtimes, and a highchair is provided for the littlest traveler. Outside, the seven parking spaces include access to an onsite EV charger, a rare convenience for an Outer Banks vacation home. Please note that no pets are allowed and check-in is on Friday.

Duck vacation rentals are a family favorite, and guests are drawn to the small village atmosphere while still being close to all local attractions. From Seahawk you can walk or bike the trail that runs the length of town, browse boutiques specializing in clothing, books, toys, gourmet food, antiques, and art, and choose from restaurants ranging from casual a-la-carte to formal. Duck Town Park sits on 11 acres of maritime forest along the Currituck Sound with a playground, soundside walkway, gazebo, picnic shelter, and an amphitheater that hosts music, theatre, and children's events through the summer. Swimming, surfing, fishing, kayaking, and crabbing are all within easy reach between the sound and the ocean.

Community Note: The Town of Duck has beach equipment policies to help keep visits to the shore enjoyable and safe.

EV Charger: A payment is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.

Pool: Pool heat is free of charge. The 2026 pool season runs 4/3/2026 through 10/23/2026, and the 2027 season runs 3/26/2027 through 10/22/2027. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
