Located between the towns of Duck to the north and Kitty Hawk to the south, guests have quick access to the Wright Memorial Bridge and can easily enjoy the sights, dining, shopping, and recreation in both communities, all from a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood flanked by the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound.

Entertainment is the name of the game in the ground level recreation room with a media area. This voluminous space is decked out with a pool table, sofa and armchair seating, 55" 4K Smart TV, and a kitchenette with marble countertops, sink, and refrigerator. A half bathroom is accessible and serves as a cabana bath for those outdoors. Bedding accommodations include one bedroom with a king bed, Smart TV, and private bath with walk-in shower and a second with a private bath that is furnished with a pyramid bunk and a twin bunk.
Rec room doors open to outdoor fun and recreation at the sparkling 30 x 14 private pool with an expanded pool deck. Lounge poolside with a good book under Carolina blue skies and enjoy invigorating daily swims, then rinse off in one of two outdoor showers. Gas and charcoal grills stand ready for sunset cookouts. Each day, take the private pathway to the beach to stroll the shoreline collecting shells or play in the rolling surf. As the sun sets, retreat to the soothing hot tub and relax to the sound of gentle waves lapping against the shore.

A beautifully appointed kitchen overlooks the great room and features ceramic tile floors, custom cabinets, dazzling granite countertops, stylish pendant lighting, and a pantry with a pocket door. Demonstrate your cooking skills with a host of appliances, including a refrigerator, gas cooktop, double ovens, under-counter microwave, two dishwashers, two sinks, a beverage fridge, and a Keurig. A highchair is on hand for the littlest diners. A screened-in porch offers a shady retreat to enjoy coastal views and connects through doorways to the front covered deck and rear sun deck. A half bathroom and laundry facilities are centrally located.
Bedding options on the second level include two charming suites with Smart TVs and private baths, one with a king bed and walk-in closet and the second offering a queen bed. An oceanfront bedroom is furnished with a king bed, 4K Smart TV, armchair, and desk with chair. It features ocean views, a private covered balcony and bathroom with a dressing area, a walk-in closet, two sinks, a 6-foot glass shower with two shower heads, and a bubble jet whirlpool spa. Watch the sunrise from this private balcony or join family and friends on the oceanfront sun deck furnished to savor morning coffee and afternoon mint juleps as the moonlight dances across the ocean.

Neighborhood & Community: Southern Shores greets you as you cross the Wright Memorial Bridge, with quiet streets perfect for walking and biking beneath pines, dogwoods, and live oaks. Sea Oats Park offers a playground, soccer field, basketball court, and picnic area. The Soundview Park on N. Dogwood Trail provides panoramic water views, a children's playground, a kayak launch, and more that makes it a great spot for a picnic or family outing. All of our Southern Shores homeowners are members of the SSCA Tennis Club, so you will receive an access code to the Hillcrest Tennis Courts, located just past the corner of Hillcrest Drive and Sea Oats Trail. Please note that vehicles must display a SSCA guest parking pass on the dashboard in community parking areas.
