Wanting to soak in the coastal breeze without straying far from the group? Spend time out on the open deck that overlooks the pool area or settle into the screened porch, both furnished with outdoor tables and chairs. When you are ready to spark up some competition, head downstairs to the rec room where a pool table awaits, shoot hoops at the basketball hoop outside, or take to the private pool area for all the childhood pool games you can remember (marco polo, anyone?). No matter where your group gathers in this OBX vacation rental, you are sure to have some fun. And for those who visit the Outer Banks for one reason, and one reason only, do not worry: the beach is far from out of reach.

An advantage of staying in Duck is being near the soundfront boardwalk, the popular restaurants and shops that visitors rave about all year long, and the community activities the Town hosts throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Even better, the Duck Landing subdivision sits right across the street from the Town Park and an access point to the boardwalk that runs along the sound.

Duck's shops and boutiques specialize in clothing, books, toys, gourmet food, groceries, antiques, and artwork, and its restaurants range from casual a-la-carte fare to more formal dining. Between the sound and the ocean, families can fill their days with swimming, surfing, fishing, crabbing, kayaking, and more. Accommodations and Amenities

Seven bedrooms include three kings, two queens, two twins, one pyramid bunk, and one twin bunk, with five of the bedrooms offering private baths. In all, the home has six full bathrooms and one half bath, so mornings move quickly even with a full house. Nine TVs are spread throughout the home, along with a DVD player, and free high-speed wireless internet keeps everyone connected.

Outside, the 32.0 x 16.0 private pool anchors the backyard, joined by a hot tub, poolside loungers, a sheltered seating area, charcoal grilling, an enclosed outdoor shower, and a basketball hoop. Seven parking spaces make arrival easy for larger groups, and guests also enjoy community pool access within Duck Landing. The pool is scheduled to be open 5/1/2026 through 10/9/2026 and 4/30/2027 through 10/8/2027. This home has a Friday check-in and does not allow pets.

Community Note: Duck Landing offers several community amenities including a community beach access, four pickleball courts, an indoor heated pool, an indoor heated kiddie pool, a fitness center, a playground, and a clubhouse with a video game room, pool table, foosball, and ping-pong. All of these amenities are located on the east end of the subdivision where there is limited nearby parking (parking pass required and provided). RVs, boats, and trailers are not permitted in this subdivision (unless they fit completely under carport). Golf carts are allowed. The Town of Duck has beach equipment policies to help keep visits to the shore enjoyable and safe.
