Outer Banks Stunt Kite Competition

The Outer Banks Stunt Kite Competition is a regional kite competition that brings some of the nation’s best kite fliers right to the Outer Banks’ backyard, and visitors can watch all the action from the amazing natural venue of Jockey’s Ridge State Park.

Kitty Hawk Surf Company Kayak Fishing Tournament

TRI Swim Bike Run

Put your biking, swimming and running skills to the ultimate test during this event that takes advantage of the brilliant fall weather along the coastline, as well as the gorgeous scenery of the Outer Banks. TRI Swim Bike Run is a multi-faceted race to the finish line that includes Olympic, Sprint, & Half Triathlon Distances, as well as relay teams and individual spots, to create a customized course that will challenge athletes of all skill levels.

Outer Banks Seafood Festival

This all-day event takes place at the waterfront Event Site in Nags Head, and is a family-friendly outing that will make anyone fall in love with this staple of the Outer Banks’ culinary cuisine.

The NC VIP Fishing Tournament

At the NC VIP Fishing Tournament, the VIP stands for Very Important People as well as Visually Impaired Persons, and this tournament is a truly unique fishing event that ensures everyone can join in the fun of fall fishing on the Outer Banks. Held at Jennette’s Pier, which is well known as one of the best spots along the Outer Banks to drop a line, this tournament is the largest service project of its kind in the world, and is a great opportunity for VIPs everywhere to reel in some amazing catches, and some great times.

Outer Banks Running Club OBX Gobbler 5K & Fun Run
