Booking a stay at The Space Between has many benefits, but don't take our word for it - experience it for yourself! This 7-bedroom vacation home offers 4,500 sq. feet of living space and is only 225 yards from the nearest beach access. A few of the best features include a private pool area with a hot tub, a rec room, a media room, stellar views of the land and water around you, and each spacious bedroom having a private bath. Built on an elevated lot and being located between the Currituck Sound and the Atlantic Ocean, guests who stay at The Space Between can enjoy impeccable views of the sun rising to the east and setting to the west each day. At one end of the road, there is access to the sound, where you can launch a kayak or paddleboard (bring your own watercraft). If you head towards the sound of the waves, a short walk will put you at a community beach access that leads to the shoreline.

The ground floor offers a fun entertainment option for those who love a little competition and for those who love a good "curl up and enjoy a movie" moment. The rec room includes a pool table, a wet bar with a sink and full-sized refrigerator, a mounted Smart TV, and a seating area. The media room is furnished with comfortable seating and a large mounted Smart TV. A half bath is conveniently nearby. Laundry facilities can be found on the ground floor. Two bedrooms are available on this level - a king bedroom and a bedroom with two twin bunks, both with their own private bath. The bathroom in the king bedroom offers a walk-in shower; the bathroom in the bunk room has a shower/tub combo.
A door from the rec room leads out to the pool area that features a large private pool (can be heated for an additional fee), a hot tub, outdoor seating, an outdoor TV, and a gas grill. An outdoor shower can be located right next to the door that leads back into the house, making it a convenient spot to rinse off after a long day in the sun before heading inside for some indoor fun.

A balance between entertainment and sleeping options, the middle floor offers a lounge area with sofa seating around a Smart TV, as well as a table that can be used for games, puzzles, and even as a workspace if needed. A door that leads from the lounge area out onto the deck overlooks the pool and has stairs leading you down to the pool. Four bedroom suites are on this floor - two king bedrooms and two queen bedrooms, each with a private bath. The king bathrooms have walk-in showers, the queen bathrooms have shower/tub combos. One of the king bedrooms has a sliding glass door that leads to a private deck area on the front of the house, although none of the bedrooms are far from a door that leads to either the front or back decks.

As you enter the top floor from either the stairs or the elevator that travels to all levels, you are welcomed into the open-concept space made up of the great room, kitchen, and dining area. The great room is furnished with cozy seating around a seasonal electric fireplace with a mounted Smart TV over it. The kitchen offers a refrigerator (icemaker in the freezer), two dishwashers, two ovens, two sinks, a gas range, a microwave, two coffee makers (one standard drip and one Keurig), a griddle, and a crockpot. A large island with seating separates the kitchen from the dining area but doubles as a place for quality time together while meal prepping or cleaning up. A pantry is located around the corner from the kitchen and offers shelving for storage and a second refrigerator (two total on this level). Two doors lead out onto the deck, one in the dining area and one in the great room, but both will lead you to the spacious decks that offer views of the ocean and the sound. A king bedroom is available on this level and offers its guests a private bath and a private deck with views of both the ocean and the sound.

Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
Security Camera: This property has a camera installed facing the ocean and the sound, as well as a camera facing the front porch.
