Your "window" to a wonderful vacation awaits you at La Ventana, an eight-bedroom OBX vacation rental set semi-oceanfront in the Duck Landing community. Ocean views, a private pool and hot tub, and the charm of a classic Outer Banks design will make all your vacation dreams come true. This beautifully designed and decorated home features comfortable furnishings, ample sun and shade decks, recreation and theater rooms, and an elevator allowing easy access to all levels, a welcome touch for multigenerational groups traveling with luggage, coolers, and beach gear. Relax and enjoy quality time with your family and friends in the large, open living areas, then head outdoors for volleyball, a game at the basketball hoop, burgers on the gas grill, or a long soak in the hot tub. Two outdoor showers and six parking spaces keep arrivals and beach days running smoothly, and two dogs are welcome with a fee.

You're a short distance from the ocean access and the community pool. Centrally located in the Town of Duck in one of its most desirable neighborhoods, you're only a short walk away from many shops and restaurants. Duck's small village atmosphere has long made it a family favorite on the Outer Banks.

Accommodations

Eight bedrooms sleep everyone comfortably: two kings, five queens, and one double, with five of the bedrooms enjoying private baths. In all, the home offers seven full baths and three half baths, so mornings never turn into a waiting game. Eleven TVs are spread throughout the home, and free high-speed wireless internet is included.

Community Note: Duck Landing offers community pool access. Community amenities are located on the east end of the subdivision where there is limited nearby parking (parking pass required and provided). RVs, boats, and trailers are not permitted in this subdivision (unless they fit completely under carport). Golf carts are allowed. The Town of Duck has beach equipment policies to help keep visits to the shore enjoyable and safe.

Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees. 2026 pool open dates are 4/3/2026 to 10/23/2026 and 2027 pool open dates are 3/26/2027 to 10/22/2027, with pool heat available for $500.00.
