Only one street over from the oceanfront, you are a short distance (231 yards to be exact!) from a community beach access that lands you out on the vast stretch of beach that makes up the beauty of Corolla. Stroll the shoreline looking for treasures from the sea, take a seat in the sand and watch the sun come up over the horizon, or experience the stunning shades of pink and purple that paint the sky while the sun sets to the west each evening.
For those who would prefer to relax back at the house, The Best of Tides has a 36 x 16 private pool (with the option to be heated for an additional fee) perfect for floating, and a bubbling hot tub perfect for soaking. An elevator reaches each floor, six parking spaces keep arrivals simple, free high-speed wireless internet keeps everyone connected, and two dogs are welcome for an additional fee. With eleven TVs, a theater, and a recreation room spread across three levels, you are sure to be enjoying The Best of Tides during this vacation.

The ground floor is host to a rec room and a theater equipped to entertain those of all ages. The rec room includes counter height seating that looks onto a large mounted TV. The bar area has a sink, microwave, and ample counter space that allow you and your group to store snacks and drinks of your choice for your time spent down there. This spot also doubles as a convenient location to store food and drinks that you want easily accessible while hanging out poolside.
Speaking of poolside, make your way out to the pool area from the rec room. The outdoor living space has a private pool that can be heated for an additional fee, a hot tub, a gas grill, and two outdoor showers. Having access to outdoor showers during a beach vacation makes rinsing off and cleaning up a breeze before heading back inside to rest and relax for the evening. Bedding on the ground floor includes a bedroom with two custom built-in pyramid bunks and a private bathroom, an ideal landing spot for the younger members of the group. Access to the laundry facilities is on this level. A universal EV charger is available in the carport.

Bedding is the name of the game on the middle level of The Best of Tides. There are three bedrooms furnished with king beds, each with a private en suite bathroom, two of which have sliding door access to the deck. There is also a king bedroom and a bedroom with two twins that both have sliding doors that lead out onto the decks, so morning coffee or an evening breeze is never more than a few steps away. The king and twins bedroom share close access to a full hall bath.

The top level offers an open concept floor plan that includes the great room, kitchen, and dining area. The great room has a seasonal electric fireplace (available October through March) and sliding glass doors leading out onto the open deck. The kitchen is equipped with a built-in microwave and a large sink. The details of the kitchen are sure to amaze with the crisp lines of the countertops and the large island that is centered in the kitchen, an ideal spot for those who aren't preparing food to sit and spend time with the ones who are whipping up a tasty meal for the group to enjoy together. Bedding on the top floor includes two bedrooms, each furnished with king beds and a private bath, and one that offers direct access to the deck. There is a half bath on the landing of the steps between the first and second floor.
The Corolla Setting
Corolla is known for expansive, wide beaches of finely textured sand and clean rolling surf, along with quiet neighborhoods, shopping, and historic sites. Nearby attractions include the Whalehead Club at Currituck Heritage Park and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, built in 1875 and the only natural red brick lighthouse on the East Coast. Guided beach tours in search of the wild horses of Corolla, kayak tours, surfing lessons, golf, and tennis are all part of the appeal, while grocery stores, gift shops, surf shops, coffee shops, and ice cream parlors are found in local shopping centers such as Monteray Plaza, Tim Buck II, and Corolla Light Town Center.
