A wonderful vacation begins at Carolina Waves. Custom built and professionally decorated, this sensational lake front vacation retreat is located in the popular Oceanside community of Ocean Lake in Corolla, in Section O of Ocean Sands. Guests in this stylish 2,500 square foot home are treated to an expansive great room, inviting bedroom suites, a recreation lounge with wet bar, an office loft, and a private heated saltwater pool and hot tub. Six bedrooms, three of them with private baths, sleep everyone in comfort with three kings, a queen, two twins, a pyramid bunk with trundle and a sleepsofa, served by five full baths and a half bath. After fun days on Corolla's wide beaches, savor memorable sunsets and tranquil lake views from the exterior decks. Community amenities include community pool access and outdoor tennis courts. This area is central to the Currituck Club Golf Course, shopping, dining and activities, and free high-speed wireless internet keeps everyone connected. Four parking spaces, a gas grill and an outdoor shower round out the conveniences at this Outer Banks vacation rental. Check-in is on Saturday, and no pets are allowed.

Pool: Saltwater pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees. The 2026 pool season runs 4/4/2026 to 10/24/2026 and the 2027 season runs 3/27/2027 to 10/23/2027. Pool heat cost is $500.00 for both 2026 and 2027.

Community Pool & Tennis: Guests of this home have community pool access as well as access to community tennis courts.

Corolla: Known as the "gold coast" of Currituck County, Corolla is celebrated for expansive, wide beaches of finely textured sand and clean rolling surf. Visit the Whalehead Club at Currituck Heritage Park and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, the only natural red brick lighthouse on the East Coast. Take surfing lessons, book a kayak tour, rent jet skis or join a guided beach tour in search of the wild horses of Corolla. Grocery stores, gift shops, surf shops, coffee shops, ice cream parlors and souvenir shops are found in local shopping centers including Monteray Plaza, Tim Buck II and Corolla Light Town Center.
