Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees. 2026 pool open 4/5/2026 to 10/25/2026, pool heat cost $200.00. 2027 pool open 3/28/2027 to 10/24/2027, pool heat cost $200.00.

Community Pool & Tennis: Guests of this home have access to the private Ocean Lakes Swim & Tennis Club just down the road, as well as the tennis courts located in Ocean Sands Sections D, F, and J. The Section D court is located at the corner of Marlin Way and White Whale Way. The Section F court is located at the corner of Sandfiddler Trail and Surf Song Lane. The Section J court is located at Seabird Way on the other side of the Club's pool. A stocked fishing lake is located nearby, please note that a fishing license is required to fish.

Corolla Area: Known as the "gold coast" of Currituck County, Corolla welcomes visitors with wide beaches of finely textured sand and clean rolling surf. Nearby attractions include the Currituck Beach Lighthouse and the Whalehead Club at Currituck Heritage Park, along with guided beach tours in search of the wild horses of Corolla. Shopping centers such as Monteray Plaza, Tim Buck II, and Corolla Light Town Center offer grocery stores, surf shops, coffee shops, gift shops, and ice cream parlors.
