Enjoy colorful waterfront sunsets from the decks, or wander to the private gazebo to enjoy the relaxing sound of water lapping against timbers. Any resident will tell you that the soundfront is the place for relaxation and water recreation. Take the kayak and stand-up paddleboard and spend time exploring plants and wildlife on the Currituck Sound. Take a stroll to the community beach access for days spent at the seashore, or explore the wide variety of shops and restaurants in the award-winning town of Duck.

With five bedrooms, four full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, an elevator serving all three levels, and six parking spaces, this OBX vacation rental is built for multigenerational gatherings. Free high-speed wireless internet, eight TVs, two DVD players, a dedicated home theater, a recreation room, and a highchair round out the comforts, while a seasonal gas fireplace (October through March) warms shoulder-season stays. Please note that this home does not allow pets and offers Sunday check-in.

The Duck Difference

Duck, North Carolina is a family favorite along the Outer Banks, where a small village atmosphere sits within easy reach of local attractions. Small shops and boutiques specialize in clothing, books, toys, gourmet food, groceries, antiques, and artwork, along with restaurants ranging from a-la-carte to formal. From the sound to the ocean, days here can include swimming, surfing, fishing, crabbing, kayaking, and more.

Beach Access: The Sea Tern community beach access is located at the end of Sea Tern Dr., less than a half mile from this house. Use the home's handy beach wagon and stroll to the community access for adventures at the seashore. Please note that there is no parking available for the beach access.

Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max. pool temperature is 80 degrees.

Kayak & Paddleboard: There is a tandem kayak and a stand-up paddleboard at the house for guest use. There are two kayak paddles and an adjustable height paddle for the paddleboard.

Special Access Amenities: Mid-level king bath has a roll-under sink, barrier-free shower with grab bars, and a seat. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant. Contact our office for more specific information.

Parking: Six parking spaces are available. Do not park in the roped off section of the front yard. Septic lines are below and no driving or parking is permitted in this area.
