Spread across 3,100 square feet of living space, Whitecaps pairs a true oceanfront setting with the extras that make a large group vacation effortless: seven bedrooms, six full baths, a fully fenced 24x12 private pool, a hot tub, and a rec room built for rainy afternoons. The great room, kitchen, and dining area offer uninterrupted views of the ocean, painting the east wall in the natural beauty of the horizon.

The private pool can be heated for an additional fee, and loungers and chairs are positioned all around it so you get the most out of every sunny vacation day. Tucked between the house and the pool fence is a hot tub, the ideal place to end each evening under the stars. A gate door in the pool fence leads to a shared set of steps that carry you over the dune and toward what everyone comes to the Outer Banks for: the beach. With Jennette's Pier nearby, dropping a fishing line into the ocean is as easy as can be.

Eight TVs, free high speed wireless internet, two highchairs, and seven parking spaces round out this OBX vacation rental, and two dogs are welcome with an additional fee. A seasonal fireplace (October through March) makes the great room just as inviting in the cooler months. Check-in is on Saturday.

The location of Whitecaps puts the best of the Outer Banks within easy reach. Fish from one of the area's three piers, or spend the day browsing specialty shops and restaurants ranging from casual take-out to fine dining. Historic Roanoke Island and the NC Aquarium make for an easy day trip.
