New to the Carolina Designs program for the 2024 season!
Located on the oceanfront in Nags Head, Whitecaps offers 3,100 square feet of living space, seven bedrooms, a fully-fenced private pool, hot tub, rec room, and more! Undoubtedly, you and your vacation group will enjoy your beach getaway while staying here. The great room, kitchen, and dining area on the top floor offer uninterrupted views of the ocean, painting the east wall in the natural beauty of the horizon. The private pool can be heated for an additional fee, and many loungers and chairs are positioned around it to ensure you get the most out of your sunny vacation days. Located between the house and the fence surrounding the pool is a hot tub you'll want to end each evening by relaxing in. A gate door from the pool fence leads to a shared set of steps that take you onto the dune and towards what everyone visits the area for - the beach! Being only a half mile down the street from Jennette's Pier means walking around the exhibit or dropping a line into the ocean is easy as can be.

The ground floor has a rec room with a pool table, flatscreen TV, and a wet bar with a sink and mini-fridge. Two bedrooms offer four bunks (three twin bunks and one pyramid bunk). Two full bathrooms are on this floor, and both are accessible from the hallway. There is a freestanding icemaker by the ground floor entrance to fill your cooler with ice before heading out to the beach for the day.
A door from the rec room leads out to the covered deck area where the hot tub is. Through the fence is a 24x12 private pool, poolside seating, a gas grill, and a picnic table. A gate door from the pool area exits to a common area between Whitecaps and the neighboring house. They share a set of steps that is a beach access that leads straight onto the sandy beach of Nags Head.

First Floor

Two of the four bedrooms on this level are furnished with king beds and have private baths. The other two bedrooms have queen beds and share nearby access to the hallway bathroom. All four bedrooms have flatscreen TVs. The east king bedroom has a door with direct deck access to the middle floor oceanview deck that overlooks the pool area.

The top floor is primarily made up of gathering areas such as the great room, kitchen, and dining area. The great room has an L-shaped sectional and loveseat facing a flatscreen TV. The kitchen offers a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, sink, microwave, electric oven/stovetop, two coffee makers (standard and Keurig), and a peninsula island with seating on the opposite side. The dining area has two large tables with seating for many. A centrally positioned sliding glass door opens to a sundeck lined with Adirondack chairs that looks out to the ocean for as far as one can see. This deck is the optimal spot to sit in the early morning hours to watch the sun rise over the horizon. If you're looking in the right places, you'll likely see dolphins off in the distance. A king bedroom is on the west end of the top floor and has a flatscreen TV and a shared bath that is also accessible from the hallway for those spending time on this level.

Updates for 2024: New flooring on the second floor and some new furniture in the great room and dining area. New photos to come.
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
