This home has endless outdoor entertainment options: jump in the pool (option to heat) and relax in the hot tub. With seven bedrooms, eight full baths, two half baths, nine TVs, ten parking spaces, and an onsite EV charger, this Southern Shores vacation rental is ready for large families and multi-generational groups. Two dogs are welcome with a fee, and check-in is on Friday.

Escape to the backyard to relax your body and mind as you slip into the hot tub. Float around, or spark up a game of marco polo in the 25 x 14 pool. A half bath is located poolside, plus a picnic table in the pool area for casual poolside meals. The two outdoor showers in the dry entry make rinsing off sand and saltwater after a beach day a breeze. A gas grill handles dinner. With all of this right in the backyard and the beach only a short walk down the street, you're bound to spend your time soaking up the sun, laughing through the day, and leaving with memories that will last a lifetime.

The first floor comprises five bedrooms (three kings, one queen, and a bedroom with two pyramid bunks), each with its own private bath. Three of the bedrooms on this floor have sliding glass doors leading out to the expansive decks, one of which has private deck space. The first floor deck wraps from the back to the east side of the house and looks out onto the backyard, ideal for an afternoon with a book. The rec room is a favorite gathering spot with a kitchenette and full-sized refrigerator, a flatscreen TV, two tables with seating, and a sliding door that leads onto the back deck. Around the corner from the rec room is a full hall bath, and laundry is on this level for easy mid-week beach towel refreshes.

When you make your way up to the second floor, you enter an open floor plan with a great room, dining area, and kitchen. Windows on nearly every wall fill the space with natural light, and with plenty of seating throughout, your group will have no problem gathering here at the end of the day around the TV. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals for the whole group, and additional seating lines the kitchen counter. Off the dining area is access onto the top floor deck overlooking the backyard and pool. Two kings with private baths complete this level, one with a daybed and the other with sliding door access onto the back deck. A half bath serves the main living area.
Southern Shores Location
Southern Shores greets you as you arrive on the Outer Banks from the Wright Brothers Memorial Bridge, a quiet residential community set on a narrow stretch of land flanked by the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound. Streets lined with pine trees, dogwoods, and live oaks are perfect for walking and biking, and you are positioned between Kitty Hawk and Duck with easy access to shopping, dining, and the quaint shops of Duck. Beach access is just 150 yards from Attitude Adjustment, and community tennis, playgrounds, and a soundfront beach are all part of the Southern Shores experience.
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max. pool temperature is 80 degrees. 2026 pool open dates are 4/3/2026 to 10/23/2026 and 2027 pool open dates are 3/26/2027 to 10/22/2027, with pool heat available for $450.00.
EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
Golf: Guests of this home can enjoy discounted golf fees.
Neighborhood & Community: All of our Southern Shores homeowners are members of the SSCA Tennis Club, so you will receive an access code to the Hillcrest Tennis Courts, located just past the corner of Hillcrest Drive and Sea Oats Trail. Please note that vehicles must display a SSCA guest parking pass on the dashboard in community parking areas.

2026 Holiday Week Check-In: Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2026 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2026 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.
