The Duck Setting

Duck, North Carolina is one of the Outer Banks' most beloved coastal villages, known for its small village atmosphere and easy access to local attractions. A walking and bicycling trail runs the length of town, leading to small shopping centers and restaurants offering everything from a-la-carte to formal dining, plus boutiques specializing in clothing, books, toys, gourmet food, groceries, antiques, and art. The Duck Town Park sits on an 11-acre maritime forest along the Currituck Sound with a playground, soundside walkway, gazebo, picnic shelter, and an amphitheater that hosts musical, theatre, and children's events through the summer. Community Note: The Town of Duck has beach equipment policies to help keep visits to the shore enjoyable and safe.

Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees. The 2026 pool season runs 4/4/2026 to 10/24/2026 and the 2027 season runs 3/27/2027 to 10/23/2027, with pool heat available for $500.00.

2027 Holiday Week Check-In: Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.
