Inside, five levels of thoughtfully designed living spaces ensure every guest can find their perfect spot, whether that means gathering in the open-concept great room, settling in for a movie night in the media area, or spending the afternoon with friends in the rec room.
With six kings, two queens, and two pyramid bunks spread across seven bedrooms, each with its own private bath, plus eight full baths and two half baths in all, comfort is never in short supply. The Kill Devil Hills Location
Kill Devil Hills sits in the heart of the Outer Banks, and this Milepost 6 address places you within easy reach of nearly everything the town is known for. Public beach accesses line this stretch of the Atlantic. Beyond the sand, guests find bike and walking paths, playgrounds, a community skate park, go-carts, bowling, miniature golf, laser-tag, and the movies. The Wright Brothers Memorial, where Wilbur and Orville Wright made the first powered flight in 1903, is a short drive away. Grocery stores, surf shops, boutiques, and dining that ranges from family fare to finer restaurants are spread along the beach road and the bypass, while a detour to Colington Island leads through maritime forest toward the sound and fresh local seafood. It all makes this OBX vacation rental an easy home base for an active week at the beach.
Pool: Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pool will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees. The 2026 pool season runs 4/4/2026 to 10/31/2026 and the 2027 season runs 3/26/2027 to 10/24/2027, with pool heat available for $500.00.
Special Access Amenities: The first floor king has a bathroom that includes a roll-under sink and a low-barrier shower with a built-in seat and grab bars. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant. Contact our office for additional information.
