The number one goal of any Outer Banks vacation is maximizing beach time, right? This home's incredible location on the water means you'll awake to the sound of the waves rolling in, and you can easily access the ocean via a private beach walkway. A mid-level sun deck and dune-top deck are both ideal spots to sip a cup of coffee in the morning and enjoy elevated views of the beach. The Whalehead community is a lovely neighborhood, and it is conveniently located just a short distance north of plenty of shops & restaurants, as well as two major grocery stores. The town of Corolla has many wonderful options for activities and historical sites, including the Currituck Lighthouse, Whalehead Club, wild horses of Carova, Corolla Adventure Park, and much more.

Central to the ground floor is a common area designated for hanging out and having fun! Shoot some pool in the rec room, which also features a bar area with wraparound barstool seating, a refrigerator, sink, microwave, and commercial icemaker. Connecting to the rec room is a half bath that also has convenient access to the pool area. A theater includes two tiered levels of seating, a raised bar with four barstools, and a SONOS surround sound system to provide upgraded sound and ease of operation. Bedding options on this level include a king bedroom, as well as a bedroom with two twin bunks. Both of these bedrooms have their own full baths (each have a tub/shower combo). A laundry room with two stacked washer/dryer sets and a utility sink is also located on this level.
Get ready to make a splash! The private outdoor pool is the ultimate place to cool off - there is a shallow wet deck area and a second set of stairs with a handrail that leads to the deeper section of the pool. Unwind in the hot tub, and enjoy the convenience of two outdoor showers for rinsing off after the beach. A highlight of the back yard is the poolside cabana, a great spot for grilling out on the two gas grills or relaxing in the shade. The poolside cabana has two ceiling fans, a sink, a mini-fridge, and two seating areas. Adjacent to the cabana bar is a bar height table with two swivel chairs and two standard chairs. A second table with four chairs is available for relaxing for a bite to eat, having a drink, or playing cards. The pool is surrounded by lounge chairs and side tables to soak up some sunshine by the pool.

The mid-level of this home includes seven bedrooms. Four of the bedrooms (two king and two queen) offer views of the ocean while lying in bed, sliding glass doors that open to the oceanview deck, and private baths. There is a third queen bedroom that has a private bath. The third king bedroom and the bedroom with two twin bunks share a full bath, making it the perfect family suite. The oceanview deck on this level connects seamlessly to the sun deck and is a great spot to soak up some vitamin D. The second hot tub is located on the deck and provides views of the ocean while relaxing in the bubbling water. The west-facing king and queen bedrooms have their own private decks for enjoying a beautiful sunset each evening.

A lofted sitting area is located steps above the great room furnished with four arm chairs around a coffee table. The oceanview king suite has a private bathroom with a separate toilet room, double vanities, jetted tub, and tile shower with two shower heads, two rain showers, and 8 body jets.

Updates for 2022: Fresh interior paint throughout, fresh paint in the cabana and outdoor showers, new outdoor furniture, chairs added to the great room, new great room and loft rugs, new backyard fencing.
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
Hot Tub: Both hot tubs are drained and refilled on turnover day, providing fresh water each week.
Electronics: Roku with Spectrum access available in the great room and all bedrooms. A separate Spectrum cable box, Apple AirPlay, and Bluetooth are available in the theater room all controlled by a single universal remote for easy accessibility.
Sonos Speaker System: Sonos for music streaming is available in four zones including the recreation room, great room (including surround sound on the great room TV), 2nd floor deck, and outdoor pool area. A Sonos surround sound system is available in the theater for better sound and ease of operation.
