Highlights of Sea to Sound include spacious living areas, including a bright and airy great room, two kitchens (one on the ground floor), six bedrooms, and six full baths, plus two half baths for convenience. Sleeping arrangements include five king bedrooms, five of them with private baths, and a bunk room with two pyramid bunks. An elevator serves the floors of the home, and two dogs are welcome with a fee.

Catch a movie in the theater room, with projection screen TV and seating for 15, or shoot a game of pool in the rec room. Outside, float in the 12 x 24 pool, soak up the sun in one of the poolside loungers, or unwind in the hot tub while the kids take over the sand volleyball area. With eight TVs, three DVD players, a home theater, free high speed wireless internet, five parking spaces, and a Sunday check in, this Duck vacation rental has it all indoors and out.

Located in Carolina Dunes in Duck, SEA TO SOUND places you in one of the Outer Banks' most inviting coastal villages, known for its small village atmosphere and easy access to local attractions. Walk or pedal the trail that runs the length of Duck, browse boutiques and galleries in the shopping centers, sample the wide range of dining options, or spend the day at Duck Town Park, an 11 acre maritime forest on the Currituck Sound with a playground, soundside walkway, gazebo, and amphitheater. From swimming and surfing to fishing, crabbing, and kayaking, the ocean and sound are both close at hand.

Updates for 2026: All the windows and sliding glass doors were replaced, the top floor windows were replaced with picture windows to improve the view, the roof top decking was replaced, new lighting elements on the top floor, some new poolside speakers that can be connected to via Bluetooth.

Updates for 2025: Pool completely redone including new plaster and new equipment.

Updates for 2024: The kitchen cabinets and second floor private bath vanity painted a new color, new carpeting on the middle floor, new stainless steel refrigerator in rec room kitchen, and a refresh of the volleyball area in the front yard.

Pool: Pool heated by propane. Max pool temp is 85 degrees. 2026 pool open dates are 4/5/2026 through 10/25/2026 and 2027 pool open dates are 3/28/2027 through 10/24/2027, with pool heat available for $700.00.
