Nags Head has been the historic center of family beach vacations on the Outer Banks since the 1940s and 50s, and this OBX vacation rental places you within easy reach of its highlights. Climb the tallest natural sand dune system on the East Coast at Jockey's Ridge State Park, wander more than five miles of trails through the maritime forest at Nags Head Woods Ecological Preserve, or cast a line from one of three area piers, including the renovated Jeannette's Pier with its aquarium annex and interpretive displays. Miniature golf, go-carting, a brand-name outlet mall, specialty shops, and restaurants ranging from take-out to fine dining are all close by, and a short drive delivers you to historic Roanoke Island, the North Carolina Aquarium, and the fishing village of Wanchese. Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max. pool temperature is 80 degrees. 2026 pool open dates are 4/4/2026 through 10/24/2026 and 2027 pool open dates are 3/27/2027 through 10/23/2027; pool heat cost is $500.00 for both seasons.
