You will be mere steps away from the nearest beach access, making your days spent oceanside easier than ever. Enjoy views of the ocean from the top level deck and the sound of the waves lapping along the shore from any of the decks. Escape to the private pool area that includes a 36 x 14 private pool, a hot tub, and an outdoor shower. With eight bedrooms, six full baths, a half bath, five parking spaces, a gas grill, and free high-speed wireless internet, there is room for the whole group to spread out and settle in. While visiting the Outer Banks in a vacation home located in the Ocean Sands community, you also have access to the community pool and tennis courts.

The ground floor offers you and your group a media room centered around a mounted flatscreen TV. This space makes for the perfect spot to end your days with a movie and some snacks while you stretch out and enjoy the company of who you're vacationing with. Adjacent to the media room is a full bath shared with the king bedroom on this level. There is a second bedroom with two twin beds (can be converted to a king with advanced notice) and a private bath.
Making your way outside from the ground level, you enter into a private pool area that is the heart of all things outdoor entertainment. A private pool (can be heated for an additional fee), a hot tub, a gas grill, and an outdoor shower are all yours to enjoy during your stay at A Wave Away.

The middle floor has five bedrooms, so families traveling together can claim their own corner of the house. Two king bedrooms have private baths and sliding door access to the deck, where the sound of the surf carries in from just up the street. One king bedroom has sliding door access to the deck and a bathroom that can also be accessed from the hallway. There is a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom furnished with two twin custom built-in bunksets, a favorite with the younger members of the group. Each bedroom has a mounted flatscreen TV.

As you ascend to the top floor, you will enter the great room, dining area, and kitchen that all share an open space. There are large windows that overlook the deck area. The great room has a large sectional sofa, a seasonal fireplace (available October through March), and sliding door access to the deck that offers views and sounds of the ocean. There is a table and several chairs located on the deck, making it the ideal spot to sip on your coffee in the morning or enjoy your meals outside anytime of the day. The kitchen is beautifully designed with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, along with a large island that offers additional seating. The kitchen at A Wave Away will have the chef of your group excited to start whipping up meals upon arrival. There is a king bedroom on the second floor with a private bath, a mounted flatscreen TV, and sliding door access to the deck.
The Corolla Location
Located in Section O of Ocean Sands, A Wave Away places you on the northern end of the Outer Banks, where wide beaches of finely textured sand and clean rolling surf remain the main attraction. Corolla, known as the "gold coast" of Currituck County, is also home to the historic Whalehead Club at Currituck Heritage Park and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, built in 1875 and the only natural red brick lighthouse on the East Coast. Fill your days with a guided tour in search of the wild Corolla mustangs, a kayak trip on the sound, surfing lessons, golf, or a movie at the local theater. Grocery stores, surf shops, coffee shops, ice cream parlors, and gift shops are all close by at Monteray Plaza, Tim Buck II, and Corolla Light Town Center. This home offers Sunday check-in.
