Welcome to Pelicans View, a pet friendly home conveniently located in the Duck Ridge Shores Community in Duck, NC. This home provides amenities and features that help stand above the rest. The backyard provides a private pool, hot tub covered by a shaded gazebo, horseshoe pit, and so much more! Everyone can have their own space to kick back and relax after soaking in the sun at the beach with two sitting areas and a rec room that provides a kitchenette with an air hockey table and direct access to the pool area.

Pelicans View is more than just a perfect getaway; With all the handicap accessible features such as ramps leading from all the exterior doors, roll-in shower, and elevator (measuring 31.5” x 47”) it allows being able to travel with anyone in the family. The homeowner also provides a golf cart to help with carrying belongings and family members to the beach which cuts your walking distance WAY down! This home offers two very spacious en suite baths with stall showers and jetted jacuzzi tubs. Every bathroom minus the prior ones mentioned have a shower/tub combo. The only bedroom in this home that doesn’t have direct access to a bathroom is the pyramid bunk room on the ground level. On chillier evenings, enjoy the warmth of the gas fireplace in the living room which is open to the dining and kitchen areas. The top level en suite will be your personal retreat, with a private balcony.

Please note, the fireplace in the top level en suite is NOT available for guest use.

For your convenience, this home provides sheets and towels.

The private, unheated pool is available from the second week of May to the second week of October. Pool size is approximately 13’ x 30’.

It was 1978 when Eddie and Lou Miller first opened Miller’s Seafood and Steakhouse. As a teenager, their son Brian spent his summers working in the restaurant, getting familiar with the family business. After college, Brian and his wife Beth came back to Kill Devil Hills and began working together at Miller’s. Brian and Beth officially purchased the restaurant from Eddie and Lou in 2007. A few years later they opened American Pie together, and both restaurants now carry on the Miller family tradition of quality, excellence and hospitality.

 

“I learned everything about the restaurant business from my parents,” Miller says. “They ran the business together for all those years, and now my wife and I are doing the same. “Throughout the summer, we’re feeding around 2,000 people a day in our two restaurants. It’s a challenge we embrace every season, and we get a lot of fulfillment from making it all work.”

 

The Millers focus on two main specialties: high quality foods and unparalleled service. Seafood at Miller’s is fresh and locally caught, and they serve high-quality Angus beef, fresh pastas and homemade desserts. At American Pie, guests enjoy hand-tossed pizzas and homemade ice cream.

 

“We put a lot of time and effort into ensuring the products we bring in are top-notch,” Miller says. “Our customers know that when they visit our restaurants, they’ll be getting the quality and consistency they’ve come to know and love.”
