Don't forget to put your feet up to watch a show or ball game in the outdoor cabana area with seating, a TV, and a sound system as well as a grilling station with a gas grill.
A vacation at Pearl Sands is just what you need to relax and enjoy the simple pleasure of beachside living. This 11-bedroom, semi-oceanfront retreat is right across the street from the ocean, and only a short walk to the beach accesses to the north and south - trust us, you'll be in a vacation state of mind in no time! Spend your day on the beaches of Corolla, where you can lay out on the wide span of soft sand, splash around in the rolling surf, or take a stroll to find treasures from the sea. Back at the house, let your worries float away while taking a dip in the private pool that can be heated (pool heat is an additional fee), enjoy the beautiful colors of the sky when the sun rises each day while sipping a cup of coffee on the oceanview deck off the great room, or take advantage of ultimate leisure in the bubbling poolside hot tub. Along with the private pool, hot tub, and fully fenced yard, the ground level deck wraps around three sides of the house and makes for the perfect spot to spend time outdoors while staying out of the sun. The ground floor rec room is where you can play a game of pool, mix up your favorite drink at the fully-equipped wet bar, or turn on your favorite movie in the home theater. There is no shortage of things to do and amenities to enjoy during your stay!

When you walk through the front door of Pearl Sands, you enter into a media den that includes sofa seating and a mounted flatscreen TV over a seasonal gas fireplace. Making your way through the media den, you come to the rec room that has a pool table, shuffleboard, arcade game, and a sports bar. The sports bar is equipped with a sink, dishwasher, standalone icemaker, wine cooler, and a full-sized refrigerator. Watching multiple shows on TV at once doesn't require you to flip back and forth in this rec room, there are two mounted flatscreen TVs available and seating nearby for both. Pocket doors separate the theater from the rest of the rec room, which allows for the room to be quiet for movie watchers (DVD player located here), or open to the rest of the festivities. Bedding on the ground floor includes one queen with private bath, and two bunk rooms that share a full bath. One of the bunk rooms has two twin bunksets, the other has one twin bunkset.
Outside, you will enjoy a fully fenced yard that has a private pool (with the option to be heated for an additional fee), a hot tub, and ample deck space. Alongside the pool, there is a covered deck area with seating and a TV. Turn on your favorite tunes and listen through the outdoor bluetooth speaker system while you grill up a feast at the grilling station with a gas grill. Other convenient features of the outdoor area is a half bath that is accessible from the pool area, and an outdoor shower! Travelers visiting in an electric vehicle can charge up at the house as it's equipped with an EV charger.

The middle floor has six bedrooms, five are kings and one is a queen. Five of the bedrooms have direct access to a deck, two of which are private decks. There is a den on this level that has a mounted flatscreen TV over a seasonal gas fireplace. The media den has a sliding glass door that leads out to a deck that faces the ocean.

As you enter onto the top floor from the staircase that is central to the great room and kitchen, you are greeted with views of the ocean from the wall of windows to the east, and sliding door access to the deck that overlooks the pool area. The kitchen is equipped with a double sink, refrigerator, microwave, two dishwashers, a standalone icemaker, glass top stove, and a double oven. The kitchen island offers extra space to prep food and bar seating for six. Alongside the kitchen is a separate dining room that has an elongated dining table, as well as an additional dining table that looks out to the east to provide even more seating for the members of your group. Seating for 24 is available between the multiple dining areas. The many windows bring in an abundance of natural light making it a great spot to enjoy any meal with your group. The great room is furnished with an L-shaped sectional and armchairs that are centered around a seasonal gas fireplace. Bedding on this level includes two kings with private baths. One of them has a private deck and a custom bathroom with a double vanity and a walk-in shower. The other has direct access to the deck that spans the west side of the house and overlooks the pool area.

Updates for 2023: New double wall oven, new receiver in theater room, all new chaise lounges for the pool area, new Bluetooth speakers in cabana/pool area, all new sliding glass door sliders replaced/adjusted.
Updates for 2022: New furniture in all common areas. Bedrooms and bathrooms refurbished and refreshed, including all new wall mounted Smart TVs in all bedrooms. New carpet installed. Sanded and restained hardwood flooring throughout the house. The entire house was freshly painted from top to bottom, inside and out. New fans and lights through the interior and exterior to add to the comfort. The kitchen was fully restocked. New tables and chairs were added to the decks and pool area. New gas grill. New seating in the theater room, new shuffleboard, pool table, and arcade games in the rec room.
EV Charger: An EV charger is available for free for guest use.
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
TVs: All TVs are Smart TVs with the Spectrum app for streaming live TV. (Guests can log into own streaming accounts such as Netflix.)
