This home embodies the spirit of beachfront elegance, and is the ideal destination to experience the Outer Banks at its finest. A stellar combination of panoramic views, sophisticated design, extensive indoor and outdoor amenities, and a laid-back South Nags Head location make Beach King a stunner.

The great room's floor-to-ceiling wall of windows that frame the ocean set this home apart. Relaxing views can be savored from many vantage points in this home: experience the sea breeze from the open or covered decks, or rise to stunning vistas from one of the many oceanview bedrooms. Even the rec room on the ground floor has a sliver of horizon view! Another distinguishing feature is the huge back yard. This home is set on one of the largest lots in Nags Head, and has an expansive outdoor area that includes a private 30x16 pool (much larger than comparable homes), hot tub, and a grassy area perfect for yard games. Two outdoor showers, gas and charcoal grills, and nine parking spaces round out the exterior. Indoors, amenities include a recreation room, a dedicated home theater room, a designer kitchen, an elevator serving all levels, and nine bedrooms with private baths (+ additional den with king bed) offering privacy and comfort. With eight king beds, 10 full baths, and two half baths, this OBX vacation rental is built for large families and multi-generational groups. Free high-speed wireless internet and 12 TVs keep everyone connected, and a seasonal fireplace (October through March) warms up cooler-weather stays.

With very little development to the west, the beaches of South Nags Head are often less crowded than our northern beaches. A sidewalk lines the length of Route 12 in front of the home, which is convenient for riding bikes or jogging, and you're not far from the Outer Banks Fishing Pier, a favorite among locals for live music and happy hour. There are many popular nearby attractions: spend a morning climbing nearby Bodie Island Lighthouse, book an offshore charter from Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, hike the dunes at Jockey's Ridge State Park, or visit historic downtown Manteo for a day trip. Please note this home has Saturday check-in and does not allow pets.

Updates for 2025: New flooring in bedrooms and a new sofa in the great room.

Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees. 2026 pool open dates are 4/4/2026 through 10/24/2026, and 2027 pool open dates are 3/27/2027 through 10/23/2027. Pool heat cost is $600.00 for both 2026 and 2027.

Path to Beach: Due to shifting ocean currents and wind, it is normal for sand accumulation to cover the walkway and gazebo floor at this home. Weather and ocean currents can affect the dune, adding or removing sand from the walkway area. Coastal Area Management Act (CAMA) regulations protect the oceanfront dune line, and prevent "digging out" walkways when sand accumulation occurs.

Please note that driving in the backyard is not permitted, as it will damage the underground irrigation system.

Special Access Amenities: This home offers a ramp to the ground floor entrance as well as an elevator. One mid-level king has a bath that includes a roll-under sink, low-barrier shower, and shower seat. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant.

2027 Holiday Week Check-In: Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.
