Overview
Oceanfront in Carolina Dunes, this 5-bedroom vacation home is where you'll want to return to year after year. An ideal location, coupled with a magnificent home that has desirable amenities and ample space for a group, your next Outer Banks vacation at Tequila Sunrise will be one for the books. The ground level is all about outdoor living with a large private saltwater pool that can be heated, an open hang-out area under the house with a hammock and an outdoor shower, as well as fun games for the group to enjoy, like ping-pong, cornhole, or a little in-pool basketball. The middle and top levels both feature east and west-facing decks, so whether you're more of a sunrise watcher or a sunset lover, you don't have to choose while staying here! The middle floor has five bedrooms, three of which have private baths with custom-tiled walk-in showers. The top floor showcases an open floor plan that allows the entire group to be together for meals and to catch up on the day's happenings. Located only a short distance north of the heart of Duck, you're close to all the restaurants, boutiques, shops, and sightseeing that Duck has to offer.

The exterior offers many fun amenities for guests to enjoy while staying at Tequila Sunrise. The large private pool (can be heated for an additional fee) is positioned on the west side of the house, which means you'll have plenty of sunshine into the late hours of the day. If you want to spark up some friendly competition between you and your fellow vacationers, there is a basketball hoop in the pool, as well as a set of cornhole boards and a ping-pong table under the house. On the east side of the house is a private walkway to the beach that includes a dune deck with built-in seating. When you're coming off the beach for the day, you can rinse off in the enclosed outdoor shower that is located under the house as well.

The middle floor is devoted to quiet and comfortable sleeping accommodations. There are five bedrooms in total. Two king bedrooms offer direct deck access, ocean views, and a private bath with a tiled walk-in shower. A queen bedroom has a private bath with a tiled walk-in shower. Two additional bedrooms share nearby access to a full shared bath. One bedroom has a queen bed; the other has a double bed, a twin bed, and a twin trundle. Laundry facilities are located in the shared bath.

The top floor is furnished in coastal-inspired colors and patterns and offers a balance between natural woods and modern finishes that are sure to elevate your vacation experience. The great room is furnished with a large L-shaped sectional and several armchairs. The views of the ocean are beautiful and uninterrupted, allowing the room to be washed in natural light through the wall of windows facing the east. A sliding glass door in the great room leads to the open deck that looks out onto the Atlantic for as far as the eye can see. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and plenty of room for multiple cooks. Around the corner from the kitchen is a large media den with a sectional, armchair, SmartTV, and a wet bar with a sink and mini-fridge.

Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
Security Camera: This property has a camera installed on the ground level and on the middle floor deck.
