Views to the west of this home include waterfowl flying over the marshes and tranquil sound waters. The Nags Head Setting

South Nags Head is the gateway to the Pea Island Reserve and National Park Service coastline, a quieter stretch of shoreline for those who want the beach to feel a little more remote. Drive a few minutes north and you will find Jockey's Ridge State Park, the tallest natural sand dune system on the East Coast, along with the Nags Head Woods Ecological Preserve, miniature golf, go-carting, an outlet mall, specialty shops, and restaurants ranging from casual take-out to fine dining. Historic Roanoke Island, the NC Aquarium, and the fishing village of Wanchese all make for an easy day trip from this Outer Banks home base. Saturday check-in.

Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees. 2026 Pool Open: 4/4/2026 to 10/24/2026. 2027 Pool Open: 3/27/2027 to 10/23/2027.
