Situated in the heart of old Nags Head, where many of the original oceanfront cottages still stand, this restaurant is at the same location as the former Jockey’s Ribs Bar & Grill had been since 1985.  In fact, it’s owned and operated by the same family, but since opening in May 2012--- besides having a new name --- now the menu is more seafood-oriented, and the décor is more contemporary.  With sleek black booths and tables set off by light-colored bead board and recessed ceiling lighting, the dining room has authentic vintage touches ---- the building was the site of Harris’ Grocery Store in the 1940s --- but it has a modern, open feel. A full bar is located in the rear corner.  Photographs of old Nags Head, posters advertising shows at the Casino ---a popular dance hall that had been located next door --- and local artwork decorate the walls. The menu features meals made with local produce and locally caught fish, including shrimp and grits, grilled mahi, and pan fried jumbo lump crab cakes, as well as traditional seafood dishes such as broiled or fried sea scallops or shrimp.  There are also steaks, salads, pork and chicken dishes and sandwiches. Homemade desserts are also available.
