For the shopping enthusiast, the outlet mall is right next door as well as many other wonderful local shops in close proximity. If you want the quaint small-town feel, you only need to drive across the Washington Baum Bridge to Roanoke Island and head to the waterfront at Downtown Manteo. Enjoy seeing The Lost Colony outdoor drama. For guests that enjoy being close to nature, it is only a short walk (or drive) to the public beach access across from The Landings at Sugar Creek. You may also enjoy the Cape Hatteras National Seashore that starts only 0.5 miles from The Landings at Sugar Creek with the Bodie Island Lighthouse and the famous Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.
