Playin’ Hooky is a five bedroom, four and a half bath property. This home evokes memories of a classic Outer Banks vacation home that made our beaches famous. From its cedar shake exterior to its wrap-around decks, complete with views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Cape Hatteras National Seashore, there is a lot to like about this quintessential oceanfront home.

This home features custom kitchen cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, luxury vinyl plank floors and a gas fireplace. Additionally, the top level king en suite with custom bath, overlooks the Cape Hatteras National Seashore and provides picturesque sunsets through the large picture window.

On the mid-level, the two north-facing bedrooms are en suites, each with a private bath. The northeast king bedroom opens onto the lower level deck that faces the ocean. The northwest bedroom has a bunk bed and a pyramid bunk bed. The two south-facing bedrooms each have a queen bed and share a bathroom.

Ample decking allows for plenty of outdoor enjoyment: take in a sunrise, stargaze at night, soak in the hot tub, or simply enjoy the salt air and sunshine. The beach walkway makes for easy access to and from the beach, over the dune.

Sheets and towels can be added for an additional fee.

Gas fireplace is available October - April. (Fireplace is NOT currently usable for November of 2025)

Mid Level: King en suite with direct deck access, en suite with a bunk bed and a pyramid bunk bed, 2 queen bedrooms (one with direct deck access) connected by a shared Jack and Jill bath, hall laundry closet with washer and dryer.

Top Level: Open concept with connecting kitchen, living, and dining areas all with panoramic ocean views and direct deck access. King en suite with direct deck access and sound views. Half bath and sun porch.
