Where the surf meets the sky, settle into your beach vacation at Blue Yonder, a modern, four-bedroom, pet-friendly, semi-oceanfront home in Southern Shores. Located less than a mile north of Kitty Hawk Pier and just south of the popular town of Duck, this stylish yet comfortable home boasts a private heated salt water pool, hot tub, breathtaking ocean views, and more. This conveniently positioned beach oasis melds the best of both worlds for families looking for warm, welcoming, and updated accommodations to go along with easy access to the feature that brought you to our island in the first place, the beach! Less than 200 feet from the home, guests have access to a semi-private beach walkway for use only by Southern Shores permanent residents and their guests providing some exclusivity to your beach experience and reprieve from the crowds during our busy summer season.

Guests of Blue Yonder will have their pick from four mid-level bedrooms – offering two kings, one queen, and a pyramid bunk bed, with all rooms boasting Smart TVs. On the top level, an open, inviting great room with more spectacular views provides the perfect family gathering spot after a fun-filled day in the sun. Outside, two levels of decks include both sun and covered decks, the latter with a private hot tub and all with panoramic ocean views. When the beach has run its course with the kids, retreat to your own private heated saltwater pool.

A blue pool, blue skies, and the blue ocean are all waiting for you and your family at Blue Yonder.

The private pool is open from March 30, 2024 until October 19, 2024. Pool heat is available for $350. The hot tub is closed from October 19th through April 5, 2025, but can be opened for a fee. Please call our office for details (252) 261-1152.

Mid Level: King bedroom, queen bedroom, both with Smart TVs. Full hall bath, King bedroom, pyramid bunk bedroom, both with Smart TVs and a shared Jack and Jill bath. The mid-level south deck has a large hot tub on the shaded deck.

Top Level: Open floor plan with connecting kitchen, living, and dining areas all with ocean views and deck access. The dining area features seating for 8, while the breakfast bar in the kitchen seats an additional 2. Lounge/coffee/reading nook. Sun deck features panoramic views, a picnic table, and deck furniture.
