Tasteful, bold, and original are words that come to mind while strolling through this charming home boutique at Duck Commons.
Savvy’s exterior is as inviting as home itself, with the aroma from the rosemary bush at the foot of the stairs and potted shrubs and antique wrought iron guiding you up to the red door, surrounded by cedar shakes.
Within its walls are an eclectic mix of rustic to modern home furnishings, including contemporary upholstered sofas and chairs, original paintings by local artists and antique tables, chests, mirrors, lamps and more. You’ll also find ladies cotton print tunics and accessories such as handbags and one-of-kind jewelry items, some, like the hand-crafted charms, made by local designers. Savvy also has a lovely selection of paper solar lanterns and even carries a small line of pet supplies.
You can shop the store for those special items to enhance your own décor or let Savvy’s expert interior design staff do the decorating for you, from start to finish. They offer a wide selection of quality fabrics and designs that can complete or set the tone for any décor.
Savvy’s interior design services are available year round, and the shop is open April through December, with shorter days and hours in the fall.
