From its attractive adobe color scheme to its two-tier layout --- cardio and mats are upstairs in a loft overlooking a spacious weight room --- and an upbeat satellite radio feed, the facililty has a welcoming, unhurried vibe for folks who are serious about exercising. Many of the same faces have been members of the the Outer Banks Sports Club for years. Members at OBSC are like family and they welcome everyone, including OBX visitors who come in for a day, week or season.

Various classes, including yoga, pilates, spin and circuit, are included as part of the membership.  The 1,000-member club also offers tanning, massage, and training, as well as retail items.
