Bring family and friends for fun day or lighted night play on the scenic course that features fabulous island and water views. The landscaping – complete with wooden bridges and a paddleboat pond -  is topnotch at this large course. There is no problem with mosquitoes here for the course is equipped with mercury vapor lighting on thirty foot poles.

The water sports end of the business is pretty comprehensive. They offer jet skiing, kayak eco tours and kayak rentals, paddleboating – the latest rage - and parasailing over the Currituck Sound, and backwater fishing charters in Corolla and inshore and offshore charters out of Oregon Inlet, as well.

While many vacation resort businesses close in the off season, these folks are very accessible as they are open May through October and during Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Easter.

Ocracoke Island Lighthouse

The Ocracoke Island Lighthouse may not be the most imposing of the Outer Banks lighthouses, but as North Carolina's oldest lighthouse in operation, (and the second oldest in the United States), it is certainly one of the most beloved. At just 65' ft. tall, it is by far the smallest lighthouse on the Outer Banks, but it still towers over the 4 square miles of Ocracoke Village, and its beacon can be spotted up to 14 miles into the Pamlico Sound and the Atlantic Ocean.
