The Atlantic Inn first opened in 1928 as the Atlantic View Hotel, and it is locally famous as one of the first hotels to be built on Hatteras Island. Breakfast is served daily at the hotel from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., so that guests can get a jump start to their day.
