In addition, the house is handicapped friendly with a garage and a master bed room/bath designed for wheelchair access (3' doors).

The provided beach cart will help with transporting all the essentials to and from the beach. Even the beach access is handicap friendly with a sand access easily used by beach wheelchairs. No hauling car loads of groceries or luggage the elevator has access to all three levels. Everyone will enjoy the 14'x28' private pool (which can be heated for an additional fee $550 wk). With a hot tub, large rec room w/ ping pong table, foosball table, entertainment center with a 70 inch TV home theater and games on the ground floor, this is just the right area for entertaining! The screened-in porch will be a great spot for any meal, and the two levels of extensive decking provide plenty of opportunity for enjoying the ocean views and fresh salt air. Each bedroom on the top and mid-level has deck access and nice views. Deck surfaces are composite material which means no splinters!

This home is only three homes away from VOH-49 for larger family gatherings, making it perfect for families with young children! Bed and bath linens provided as well as beds made for your convenience

Looking for adventure? You are less than a mile from the 4-wheel drive beaches, famous for the roaming wild horses of the Outer Banks! Also, within a mile is Historic Corolla park, where you can climb to the top of the Currituck Lighthouse for a breathtaking view of the island and the Whalehead Club. Nature enthusiasts can choose from many trails throughout the Community and town for a memorable scenic stroll.

It was 1978 when Eddie and Lou Miller first opened Miller’s Seafood and Steakhouse. As a teenager, their son Brian spent his summers working in the restaurant, getting familiar with the family business. After college, Brian and his wife Beth came back to Kill Devil Hills and began working together at Miller’s. Brian and Beth officially purchased the restaurant from Eddie and Lou in 2007. A few years later they opened American Pie together, and both restaurants now carry on the Miller family tradition of quality, excellence and hospitality.

 

“I learned everything about the restaurant business from my parents,” Miller says. “They ran the business together for all those years, and now my wife and I are doing the same. “Throughout the summer, we’re feeding around 2,000 people a day in our two restaurants. It’s a challenge we embrace every season, and we get a lot of fulfillment from making it all work.”

 

The Millers focus on two main specialties: high quality foods and unparalleled service. Seafood at Miller’s is fresh and locally caught, and they serve high-quality Angus beef, fresh pastas and homemade desserts. At American Pie, guests enjoy hand-tossed pizzas and homemade ice cream.

 

“We put a lot of time and effort into ensuring the products we bring in are top-notch,” Miller says. “Our customers know that when they visit our restaurants, they’ll be getting the quality and consistency they’ve come to know and love.”
