South Nags Head is the quieter, more remote end of town and the gateway to the Pea Island Reserve and National Park Service coastline. From this OBX vacation rental you are a short drive to Jockey's Ridge State Park, the tallest natural sand dune system on the East Coast, and the Nags Head Woods Ecological Preserve with its miles of maritime forest trails. Head north for miniature golf, go-carting, the outlet mall, specialty shops, and a wide range of restaurants, or take an easy drive to historic Roanoke Island, the NC Aquarium, and the fishing village of Wanchese.
