There’s much to do in South Nags Head so that everyone can make the most of their time on the Outer Banks.  Take a stroll up the beach to Jennette's Pier for fishing and surrounding local eats!  Walk the pier, crab, fish, or simply take in the surrounding sights and sounds as the ocean waves roll beneath you.  

The Outer Banks Fishing Pier is the same distance away, just a mile to the south, with all the same amenities plus Fish Heads restaurant offering outdoor dining, beverages, and live music in season!

Just around the corner, you will find the Bodie Island lighthouse.  A great way to take in sky high panoramic views from after a climb to the top.  Keep heading south for a drive over the newly constructed Basnight Bridge. Enjoy views of the famous Oregon Inlet, which connects you to Pea Island Wildlife Refuge on Hatteras Island. Or head into Manteo on Roanoke Island for a step back in time and stroll along the quaint waterfront shoppes, grab a bite to eat, a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, or some locally brewed beer at Lost Colony Brewery, or sip local rum at the Kill Devil Rum’s Distillery.  Roanoke Island is also home to the NC Aquarium, Award Winning Lost Colony Outdoor Production, Elizabethan Gardens, and Festival Park where you can catch an outdoor concert from big name acts from around the globe.
