Grab a seat at the Duck Amphitheater in the heart of town for this special show that uncovers one of the most legendary and still lingering mysteries of the Outer Banks. This special morning performance is designed with kids in mind, and will tell the story of the first colonists to land on Roanoke Island more than 400 years ago. Kids will be invited to join in and participate on the stage, and the combination of storytelling and interactive activity will have young audience members fascinated from start to finish.
The show is held in the heart of Duck at the town park, and gates open at 9:45 a.m., 15 minutes before show time. All seating is available on a first come, first serve basis, and visitors will want to arrive as early as possible to ensure a great view of the action on the stage. The setting is equally enticing, and audience members may want to stick around after the show to explore the Currituck Soundfront and the cool waterfront boardwalk that hugs the shoreline.
