Baldie’s Burgers is a “classic burger stand” offering take-out lunch and dinner year round. More than a few have described its burgers as simply “awesome" and very affordable.
Besides juicy burgers, other menu options include chicken and fish sandwiches and baskets, hotdogs, steak & cheese sandwiches and sides of fries and onion rings. You can kick your burger up a notch with extras like grilled mushrooms & onions, sauerkraut and a number of other toppings or try a hotdog with chili, cheese and bacon or any of the other extras the restaurant offers. You can also choose Baldie’s homemade chili to spice up your fries or order it by the cup.
Since its quarter-pound burger patties are home made and its fries hand cut, do expect to wait a reasonable time to get Baldie's beyond-fast-food quality. Seating inside and out is limited, so you may want to grab your bag of Baldie’s goodies and head to the beach, a picnic area or home for dinner.
Just look for the red-and-white sign at its new location in Southern Shores at the Marketplace Shopping Center, where you'll now find plenty of parking and indoor seating.
